From 6 to 25 October 2009 comes at the Teatro di Roma Two MASKED - Ties of Blood, the show written by Israeli Ilan Hazor and directed by Madeleine Fallucca that were excited and enthusiastic audiences and critics at the first Arab-Hebrew Theater of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and then to New York.
After the success of the first National Theatre of the clock, back to the scene and moving story of refined Da'ud, Na'im and Halled, three Palestinian brothers who have chosen different paths for their lives: the largest ago the dishwasher in Tel Aviv and is accused of being a spy in the service of Israel, the latter has chosen the path of terrorism and escaped into the mountains to join a group called "The Tigers of the Revolution" and the youngest, still uncertain, is emotionally torn by the affection that test for both.
the Israel Prize Winner of the Fringe Theater Festival in Acre, Masked text was the first Israeli who had the courage to tackle the issue of the intifada and, especially, has been able to do so while preserving its neutrality from any injury. Without making judgments historical or political, in fact, the author focuses on the essentially human dimension of the conflict revealing the universal aspect behind every dispute. The three main characters - even before the Palestinian brethren - thus they become icons anthropological, as classical heroes, continue to live in every age and geographic area.
of Greek tragedy, the work also preserves the structure of Aristotle - unit of time, place and action - that results in a single act tight and engaging. On stage three young performers: Massimiliano Mecca, Fabio Pappacena Degirolamo and Michele, nominated for the award podium ETI's Olympic Theatre in the "new actor" because of Masked.
The show is part of the Special Project Theatre 2009/2010, event organized with the support of the Municipality of Rome - Department of Cultural Affairs and Communication, in collaboration with Agis and SIAE.
